My primary interests are in still life and portrait painting. I work mainly in oils and am a fan of the Chiaroscuro school as evidenced in the works of Caravaggio and Rembrandt. I have taken workshops with Daniel Greene, Steven Assael and Scott Nickerson. I attended the Art Students League of New York, studying with Gregg Kreutz, Mary Beth McKenzie and Peter Cox.

In 2007, I was accepted as an associate member of the American Artists Professional League in New York. I am also a member of the American Artists Professional League in New Jersey, the Audubon Artists, and the Manasquan River Group of Artists.

My work has been on exhibit at the Salmagundi Club in Manhattan, and in many local venues where it has received recognition.
